This year's TT Warsaw show was a huge success, which has been acknowledged by many positive reviews from exhibitors and visitors alike. The presented travel and tourist offers were hugely popular both among representatives of the industry and private individuals looking for interesting travel possibilities. The show was accompanied by many attractions and additional events, which encouraged visitors to become familiar with and take advantage of tourism proposals and presented novelties. Many of the industry’s representatives praised TT Warsaw's effectiveness with regards to establishing business relationships and selling one's own tourist offer. The TT Warsaw show was also an opportunity for industry insiders to meet, exchange opinions regarding the current state of national and global tourist industry and discuss its future development. It was also successfully used by Polish regions, which promoted their attractions among national and foreign receivers – says Agnieszka Huszczyńska, president of the management board of MT Targi which organised the TT Warsaw show.

The opening ceremony of the 18th edition of the TT Warsaw show was attended by Katarzyna Sobierajska, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, and many diplomats from nearly sixty different countries. During the ceremony the “Fair Play Turystyki Polskiej” award was given. This year the Cristal Globe went to Polskie Towarzystwo Turystyczno-Krajoznawcze. During the three days of the show exhibitors presented complex proposals of foreign and national travel opportunities, trips, hotels, health and ski resorts or spas. Visitors had the chance to familiarise themselves with a large offer of various tourist attractions, including culinary, cultural, nature-based and active recreation. The show was accompanied by many presentations, competitions and tastings.  Syrian, Slovak, Egyptian, Czech and Italian stands, among others, featured folklore performances. This year's partner country of the show, Slovakia, prepared the "SLOVAKIA SKI CUP" simulator, where visitors could admire acrobatic evolutions. Visitors could also test their skiing skills. The TT Warsaw show was also a great opportunity for international promotion of Polish tourist regions such as Mazovia, Świętokrzyskie, Warmia-Masuria, Lublin, Silesia and Małopolska provinces.

During the Evening of the Exhibitors, on the second day of the show, the selection of the best winter 2010/2011 catalogue as part of the Złoty Biegun Rynku Turystycznego contest was made. The awards and honourable mentions were presented by Anna Kłossowska, chief editor of "Rynek Turystyczny" .  First place went to Ecco Travel, whereas Biuro Turystyczne Olimp, Biuro Podróży Funclub and Orient Travel all received distinctions.

During the show a photo competition for the best picture from the show was also organised. More than 100 photographs have already been submitted. Up to 10 October, TT Warsaw visitors can still send photographs taken during the show.  Prizes – five vouchers for 1000 zloty each and two for 900 zloty each to be used in Biuro Podróży Triada – await seven authors of the most interesting photographs. A list of winners will be published at www.ttwarsaw.pl by 30 October this year.

International Travel Show TT Warsaw is the most important event in the Polish tourist industry. It attracts the largest number of countries which usually present themselves on national stands. It is also a very important opportunity to promote the tourism offers of Polish cities and regions among national and foreign contractors.  Owing to the comprehensive offer presented during the show, TT Warsaw offers a broad catalogue of ideas and solutions reflecting the most recent tourism trends on the basis of which tourist agencies can create a complete tourist offer and expand their business.

TT Warsaw attracts tour operators, lodging facilities (hotels, sanatoriums, wellness & spa facilities and guest houses), (air, rail, ferry and coach) carriers, national, regional and local tourist organisations, province board chairman offices, counties, cities and districts, business tourism organisers (MICE) as well as tourist internet portals, trade chambers and associations, insurance companies and trade publishers. TT Warsaw offers them the opportunity to effectively present their offers, establish business contacts and share experiences. TT Warsaw is also an excellent place for promoting tourist offers from around the world among the inhabitants of Warsaw, including, in particular, those concerning winter tourism.

TT Warsaw has been organised in Warsaw since 1993 by MT Targi (formerly MT Polska). Since 2009 the show has been organised in the modern Trade Fair and Congress Centre at ul. Marsa 56C in Warsaw.

MT Targi is the largest trade fair operator in Warsaw and one of the most important organisers of exhibitions in Poland.  The company is responsible for complex operation and organisation of trade fairs. It also organises the most important trade events in Poland for various industries, including EuroLab, EuroGastro, Lato, Wine & Spirits, TT Warsaw, Event, WorldHotel and others. In 2009 MT Targi was separated as an entity specialising in the organisation of trade events from Międzynarodowe Targi Polska (MT Polska), which operated on the market since 1993 and was previously responsible for both the management of the trade fair centre and organisation of trade events.
